Hi Team! So today's What I Wore To Work is probably a bit of a cop-out as it's not a full-on fashion outfit and it actually only features one piece. (It's been a busy few weeks, this is the best I can do at the moment, bwaah.)
My previous Workwear posts have always been about the outfit, the key looks, the investment pieces but I' realised that I've never covered the hair much before. And why not? I'm a beauty blog after all, so what about beauty in the workplace?
Today's smart style is all about the hair. It's easy to do, easy to prepare - it's a variation on the classic high-pony - there's texture and movement through the lengths, and of course, a giant preppy bow on top! Channelling Alicia Silverstone in Clueless!

What I Wore To Work: Smart Style Ideas For Long Hair
So I bet we all know the score on this one... Here's the scene. You wake up with hair greasier than Danny Zuko in an oil refinery, you realise there’s no time to wash our hair (aka you can’t be bothered) and hey, no biggie…. you just dry shampoo the hell out of it. CLEAN HAIRR, DON’T CARE! Sound familiar anyone?
For me, this is a regular ritual which occurs on a weekly basis – there’s just not enough time in the day to wash and dry my hair every single morning. I’m not Harry Potter you know – the combination of early mornings to work and late nights at after-work drinks, my mane gets a shampoo clean every 2 days if it’s lucky!
Dry Shampoo has become a necessity in the beauty cabinet of billions of girls out there (*random blatant fact obviously unchecked), and for me Batiste Dry Shampoo has been sitting in that space for absolute years now. I’ve been using the XXL version so religiously, I don’t even remember a time when my hair wasn’t big, poofy and fresh smelling- albeit slightly chalky..
So when I got the chance to try out a new dry shampoo, I was immediately excited. Could it be the next big Batiste?

Instant Clean? JOICO Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo
So on the weekend, my friends Henna & Moz (obvs not real birth names) were having a birthday party which was a greek themed toga party.
I love a bit of fancy dress - for an example, check out my Zoo Lates Deer Makeup (complete with witty title "Oh DEER, you look FAUNtastic")
I digress. But that was an awesome pun right?
Anyway. To Toga! For me, Grecian fancy dress is about three things.
Okay okay, I totally cheated on number 1 - I just happen to have a cream maxi which hasn't been worn since last summer. Cheat cheat cheat cheat cheat, thats me. Soz.
2 & 3 however, are very easily done and I'm going to show you how!

Ariana Grande Goes Greek: My Toga Party Ponytail!
My hair is a bit of a wet rag. It's naturally very boring and straight and I don't do anything to it, it just sits there quietly, a bit like a small, old, dog which is too tired to run around. And no one wants their hair to be described like that do they? We all want finely coiffed poodles, voluptously shaggy Lassie dogs or colourful, silky golden retrievers!
