This will sound seriously mental but... I had my first Mince Pie of the year the other day. Yup. Christmas, in October. But the festive season isn't that far away you know. Xmas lights are up on Oxford Street. Christmas gift ranges are in store. Can't escape it, CHRISTMAS 2015 IS COMING.

Christmas Is Coming: Gifts All Wrapped Up At Lush Cosmetics!

Lush Is In The Air... Lushfool... Lush Me Tender.. Crazy In Lush... I Just Called To Say I Lush You..

Enough. Can you believe it's February 2014 already? The winter chill hasn't quite left us but there's a hint of spring in the air thanks to the red balloons and flowers adorning the shops in honour of Valentines Day.

Only a week away, NOW is the ultimate last-minute buy time for boyfriends everywhere. (If your other half has had the planning sorted for days now, HE'S A KEEPER!) And if you're a single gal in the city, then now is the time to treat yourself with the ultimate pamper session!

At the launch of the Lush Cosmetics To Go book last week, I got up, close and personal with the Valentines range. Having had a week to trial, lather, scrub and and smooth the products around my body, I've now got some top recommendations for you!

So leave this URL on your boyfriend's browser - or get yourself down to the shops yourself. Either way, for me, Valentines is TREAT TIME.

Left to Right: Neon In Love Gift Set, The Kiss Lipgloss, Shampoo Bar, Love Locket Bath Bomb, Prince Charming Shower Gel, Toucan Love Gift set.

I love Lush gift sets - they smell delicious and they look stunning. Oh yeah and you get to unwrap them like it's Christmas!! Mr FV isn't great at wrapping (his wrap of choice is tin foil) so this is a GREAT option for those lacking skills in the presentational department.

Top Valentines Treats from Lush Cosmetics

Where: Lush Cosmetics - Regent Street Store

Why?: The London launch of the Danger! Cosmetics To Go book - the story of the company which came before Lush - written by Mira Manga.
What: New friends, nibbles, naughty stories and LOTS OF BATH BOMBS.

Last week, I attended my first book launch. Check me out, FVBB, going up in the world!!

It was the launch of Lush Cosmetics To Go book which is about the rise (and fall) of the predecessor to the bath-bombing, super-soaping company that we know and love today.

I don't want to give away too much but the book is full of interesting stories about the people behind Lush and how some of the infamous Lush products were developed.

It's beautifully put together - each page is lovingly designed with perfect illustrations and pictures to accompany the easily-relatable tone of Mira Manga, the book's author.

And it genuinely is fun to read! I couldn't wait to get home and read it in my pyjamas (burning a Yankee Candle too, obvs - I'm obssessed with these candles now)

Read on for more Lush-ness and more bath-bombs..

BOOK LAUNCH: Danger! Cosmetics To Go at Lush Cosmetics

It's the weekend and you know what that means? Time for a pamper session! And in this horrible, cold, winter weather there's nothing more satisfying than a nice, steamy, fragrant bath. Aaaaah.

I don't know about you, but I find a bath is ten times more fun and satisfying when you've got a bath bomb involved! It's that feeling you get when you crumble it in, and watch it fizzzzzz around and turn the water into different colours. Like a firework in the water, except much more relaxing and soothing and with no children running around you with sparklers.

And for me, there's only one place to get a bath bomb (or nine, in this case) and that's LUSH! Y'know, that shop which you can smell before you even see it? That shop with the assortment of multi-coloured cheese-wheels of soap?

You may have seen my post about the Lush Christmas Range and now, with those bath bombs in my happy hands, let's take a closer look!

Aren't they adorable??! A great array of shapes, sizes, scents and shimmers. Which one do you like the best?
