So Charlotte Tilbury seems to be taking over makeup halls around the country and I couldn't be happier. At first, you could only buy Charlotte Tilbury makeup in the likes of Selfridges and Harrods, but now it's just recently launched online at John Lewis too. HELLO NEW BEAUTY BUY.

As a seasoned makeup junkie I absolutely love trying new liquid foundations. The problem is that they take soooo blimmin long to use up, it's a rare moment when a new foundation enters the beauty race.
For a while I've been living off foundation samples but sometimes a newcomer just HAS to be brought in. And today that bottle is the new Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude foundation.

So my last post was a little introduction to my new Stila goodies, and now I've had some time to play, I did a little makeup look for you!!
I've firmly shut the lid on my summer makeup box but although the fake tans and bronzers have been put on the bench, the glowy look is STILL in. Dewy skin takes a bit of a backseat during summer because it can be mistaken for shiny-face sweatiness (blergh) but autumn/winter is when it really comes into it's own.
Today's look is a real "Sunday Morning" makeup look - really fresh faced, natural and glowing - but still polished and defined. The kind of "I'm not wearing any makeup" makeup which I frequently try to fool Mr FV with. I swear, I've spent absolute yeeeears trying to perfect it!
BEWARE - giant selfies ahead.

Natural Makeup Look with Stila In The Light Palette!
It's official - the temperature is slowly creeping up, the sun is coming back out from behind the clouds and the dull days of winter are getting longer and brighter. That's right my dear Face Value friends - Spring is here!!
And what do I associate with Spring? Nothing other than a full spring-clean and overhaul of course. Spring-clean my room, de-clutter my wardrobe and of course, seriously sort out my body.

The days of covering up under snug jumpers and warm woolens are over. My body is in serious need of a detox, de-fuzz, de-scale - basically, a full caterpillar-into-butterfly transformation. It's not going to be easy ..... or is it? Here's where NUXE steps in.
NUXE is a lovely French brand which combines the power of nature with luxury. (See what they did there?) I've been using their micellar water for a while now, and when the opportunity to win some of their products came up, I absolutely jumped at the chance.

So, in line with my Spring transformation, here's my wishlist of the NUXE products I need in order to become that butterfly!

Did you see last week when I went to the Burt's Bees Natural Lip Colour launch? I was really impressed with the event and now that I've had time to try out all the products..... I'm even more impressed!
Like I said last time, I've started to think more about the ingredients in my lipgloss - particularly as we swallow 2 kilos of the stuff in our lifetime!!
So the first thing I used to associated with "natural colour cosmetics" was wishy-washy colours, weird rose-tasting formulas and, quite frankly, just lacking that overall OOMPH that my favourite chemical-loaded cosmetics have.
Well - and I very rarely say this - I was wrong. Feast your eyes on these babies!
Lacking in OOMPH? Wishy-washy colours? First of all, they look great. This is a stunning picture, and truly representative of the stunning lipglosses contained within them.
Let's take a closer look!

NEW Burt's Bees Natural Lip Gloss & Lip Shimmers
Have you heard that age-old fact that a woman swallows 6lbs
of lipstick in her lifetime? 6lbs?! How much is that in grams .... *Googles it* ... 2700grams?! OVER
2.5 kilos??? Is that actually for reals?!
The more I think about what
I’m putting on my lips or onto my skin, the more I start thinking I should go
organic. Y’know, go back down the natural path? Avoid horrible parabens and
petrochemicals - stick to the good stuff.
I touched on this a bit when I reviewed the lovely Korres WhiteTea Facial Gel Cleanser and I realised that the no-nasties approach should definitely be applied for my lip products. If you're gonna swallow over 2 kilos
of this stuff, you’d rather it be a natural product right?!
Jokes aside on natural things you can swallow, in my opinion, the Burt’s Bees original beeswax lip balm is one of the most
natural lip balms you can find at your local beauty dealer. Me and my friends have been a fan
of that little yellow tube for quite some time now.
Here's the even better news..... Burt’s
Bees have now launched a gorgeous new natural lip colour collection – all natural and free
of artificial elements!
The new kids on the block are these stunning Burt's Bees Lip Glosses.
100% natural and packed full of Mother Nature’s moisture-makers – Jojoba,
Sunflower and Botanical Oils – these lip glosses are priced at £8.99 and will
be launching very soon!!

Armed with a giftcard and the
intention to SPEND IT ALL, I was browsing Boots for my latest victims when this
lovely lip duo caught my eye. I'm a big fan of bareminerals anyway - the
bareminerals READY SPF20 foundation was my go-to face fixer across
the summer and I wanted to try more!
As i've
mentioned before, i'm useless at drinking my 8 glasses of water a day and as a
result of this, plus the horrid wintery weather we've had, my lips have been
really paying the price. That’s right – return of the dreaded crispy lips!
Let’s be honest, sometimes
there’s just not time to do a lip scrub every day is there? I was looking for a
moisturising lip balm or gloss to hopefully treat and transform at the same
time. Was I asking for too much?
This is
the Pout Loud: Loud&Clear Lip Sheer Duo by Bareminerals. They look stunning and the colours are “pure
pops of pink and berry” – sounds good enough to eat almost!
The Pout Loud Lip Duo is
basically two of the Bareminerals Loud & Clear Lip Sheers. If you’ve not
tried a Bareminerals Loud&Clear, you need to get on that train soon!
What's a Loud & Clear Lip Sheer?

So one of my new year resolutions was to start washing my face properly. Not that I don't wash my face or anything gross like that - but I'm talking a twice-a-day soap and warm water routine. My 90 year old nan swears by a hot flannel and warm water wash twice a day, and seriously - she has skin as soft as *insert some sort of metaphor here other than a baby's bum*
I talked about the first cleanser of 2014 in my review of the Botanics Hot Cloth Cleanser I didn't really like that though (it's for sale in my Blog Sale) mainly because the oil/balm consistency was too heavy for my skin.
So let's change up the formulation. Something lighter, something a bit less oily. Mr FV's lil sister bought me this gorgeous Korres White Tea Gel Cleanser for Christmas and it.is.awesome. HIYA.
Minimalistic, natural and effective - this Korres White Tea Fluid Gel Cleanser is designed for all skin types. A lovely, silky gel which is a joy to massage over my face, it cleanses with a mild foam but without dehydrating the skin or leaving any of that squeaky-clean residue.
What makes it stand out?

Monday's Valentine's Look post led to a big number of requests asking how I did my face. (I say big number, 3 friends asked and 1 person commented - RADICAL TIMES)
Never to shy away from pleasing my readers, I've written up a quick tutorial with the products I used. I'd be lying if If i said it was "just a few products" - natural beauty makeup is at least a 5 product job for me! And because it's Valentines, I've used a couple of extras...
For me Valentines should be natural, but an enhanced version of yourself. So a good, clear base for your skin, neat brows plus defined yet natural eyes and lips.
Not that hard then eh?? Here's how I've done it.

Romantic Valentines Makeup Look: Part 2
Where: Lush Cosmetics - Regent Street Store
Why?: The London launch of the Danger! Cosmetics To Go book - the story of the company which came before Lush - written by Mira Manga.
What: New friends, nibbles, naughty stories and LOTS OF BATH BOMBS.
Last week, I attended my first book launch. Check me out, FVBB, going up in the world!!
It was the launch of Lush Cosmetics To Go book which is about the rise (and fall) of the predecessor to the bath-bombing, super-soaping company that we know and love today.
I don't want to give away too much but the book is full of interesting stories about the people behind Lush and how some of the infamous Lush products were developed.
It's beautifully put together - each page is lovingly designed with perfect illustrations and pictures to accompany the easily-relatable tone of Mira Manga, the book's author.
And it genuinely is fun to read! I couldn't wait to get home and read it in my pyjamas (burning a Yankee Candle too, obvs - I'm obssessed with these candles now)
Read on for more Lush-ness and more bath-bombs..

BOOK LAUNCH: Danger! Cosmetics To Go at Lush Cosmetics
It's official. I am head over heels, truly, madly, deeply in love........ with a square box. No, not the TV. No, not a box of Guylian truffles. Those are soooo pre-2014, dear reader. I'm talking about my new blusher by Lancome!
What happened? Well I hit the New Year sales armed with a Boots giftcard (always dangerous) and boy-oh-boy did I luck out or what? I stumbled across this beautiful Lancome Blush in Love blusher at the Lancome counter.
Not only was it beautiful, it was Limited Edition AND half price AND I had a giftcard!! Is there any other better combination?
First things first, not to come across shallow, but I fell in love for good looks... I had to get this Lancome Blush In Love because it is BEAUTIFUL. Seriously stunning. A delicate print of spring roses in a triple-toned palette, the Lancome Blush In Love is designed for a fresh glow - an illuminating blush to wake up tired skin and hide any hint of a hangover...
Let's zoom in...

Zoe's bought a new foundation to add to her collection? Errr standard!
I saw the advert for this L'Oreal Eau De Teint foundation in a magazine and I was instantly intrigued. "Perfectly invisible, lighter than water, zero make-up feel" + I haven't tried it yet = SOLD.
Although I absolutely adore my current foundation fave - the Bareminerals Ready Foundation - I'm actually going through a really good skin phase at the moment (touch wood) so I was in the market for a lighter coverage foundation.
Doesn't it look beautiful? A frosted glass bottle with purple foil accents - quite expensive looking for a high street brand. And it's not just a pretty bottle, I was actually really impressed with this foundation!
