How time flies! This time last week, I was at Somerset House, running around in not-warm-enough clothes and inconveniently high heels.
One week later, I've now jussssst about recovered (thanks to onesies and hot cups of Bovril) and I realised I have about a MILLION photos to share with you. Millions.
Clearly ain't nobody got time for that, so here's a little summary for you. My outfits, my top designers and some key LFW beauty products. Oh and there's loooadsa pics too if you're not up for reading my ramble... ENJOY!

LFW, One Week Later: The Best Bits!
Another year gone, another hundred products tried and tested. I dread to think how much I spend on my beauty habit but hey, let's think positive - at least I can tell you guys what's super and what sucks! (whether you'll listen and/or care is another story..)
And that's what today's post is about - my favourite, and least favourite products of 2013!

Beauty 2013: A Face Value Beauty Blog Summary
Ever have one of those days where you're in a great mood, ready for anything the world throws at you but your hair is just like "myeh. i'm just gonna chill mate." Cooperation with my hair is never expected to be very good - a bit like my jokes!
As a natural straight-haired gal, I've spent the last 10 years trying to achieve the perfect unrealistic ideal. Curls. Bounce. Texture. Waves.
It's funny how you always want what you don't have isn't it? Whilst all my friends are reaching for the straighteners and the paddle brushes, I'm using GHDs to curl my hair and buckets of hair spray to desperately try and freeze some shape into place.
But all this heat-styling is obviously bad for my hair and I've been looking for a way to add some definition without having to reach for the barrel brush or the tongs.
One of my best pals Katrine (not her real name, we don't really do real names on here do we? It's much more fun and I can avoid a bit of libel) works for Schwarzkopf and always has a got2b stash with her. Having tried this, I then proceeded to take it. "For the purposes of the blog" of course, I'm such a great friend..
It's just a little bit fab, so the least I can do is obviously tell you all about it.
It's this got2b Texturising Salt Spray. Dadaaaah!

| Let's not mention how the spelling of texturising is the WRONG way. |
For mermaid looks? Now I don't know about you, but when I was younger, I definitely wanted to be one of those mermaids that flirt with Peter Pan.

Textured Tousles With got2b Salt Spray
I've not been a fan of hair oils for a long time. I find them hard to apply evenly all over the hair and I can never get the right balance of too much vs too little. I normally end up with flat hair with lank patches and very messy hands.
But hey, Brad divorced Jen, the Spice Girls became 4 - sometimes THINGS CHANGE.
And I have officially changed my opinion on hair oil, thanks to a little trial of the new Got2b Oil-licious styling oil.
This product is designed for everyday use to nourish, strengthen and provide glorious shiiiine to hair.
It contains Argan Oil - the wonderkid that's the heart of the Morrocanoil formula which has been taking the haircare world by storm - as well as some other goodies like vitamin E. MMMM.
1. Pre-wash : Applying oil before getting into the shower gives extra care to damaged hair. Wet hair breaks a lot easier than dry hair, so applying an oil beforehand helps detangle locks before they get wet.
2. Pre-style : Apply a pump of this to towel dried hair for more manageable styling, frizz prevention and added protection
3. Dry styling : The oil can be used on dry hair, like a serum, for a touch of moisture, sleekness and calm whenever you need it

Face Value Tip: You've heard of pre-cleanse for face, so why not for hair? A pre-oil treatment prevents over-cleansing of the hair which is great for scalps already stripped of moisture.
