Makeup splurge alert! Whenever I'm in an airport Duty Free, I feel like I need to buy something. It's most likely the whole 'spend to save', bargain hunting element of my nature. That, or the fact I have a blindingly obvious makeup addiction...
Wind back a few weeks. I was flying to Malta on my second ever press trip, passing through the airport departures in a cloud of 'I can't believe this is happening to me' and then I saw it. The World Duty Free shop. Like a moth to a flame, I instinctively headed in.
What to buy though? I always use Duty Free as an opportunity to stock up on beauty essentials for less (cheap Benefit Rollerlash mascara & Kiehl's Midnight Concentrate being the recurring purchases here)

Beauty treat! My New Chanel Palette Essentielle Compact From Duty Free
GOODBYE 2016! Another year has flown by and since I've had a few days of holiday, I've actually had time to make another YouTube video - 2 vlogs in 2 weeks?!
People always ask me, as a beauty addict who gets to try so many products, is there anything you'd actually pay for again with your own money?

BEST OF 2016 - Which Beauty Hero Products Would I Buy Again?
When it comes to eyeshadows and the best quality eyeshadow palettes, Urban Decay is a bit of a fail safe for me. Their eyeshadows are often that lovely soft, almost buttery, kind of powder which makes blending and application an absolute breeeeze.
Urban Decay Cosmetics are probably most known for their Naked eyeshadow palettes - a range of wearable neutrals in different warm/cool tones, but what about their more creative, adventurous colours?

NEW BEAUTY LAUNCH ALERT! The latest drop from Sleek Makeup has landed in my lucky lap and I have spent the last few days getting to grips with my new fairground-themed friends.
The Whimsical Wonderland collection is a candy coloured range featuring a new eyeshadow palette, 3 new shades of Lip VIP (Sleek's semi matte lipstick, see the full review and range of Lip VIP swatches here)
I'm normally a neutrals, browns and blacks kinda gal but I do love a pop of colour on lips and cheeks. Sleek Makeup have got three new shades, basically a lilac purple, a juicy red and a coral orange. Coming in a cheek gel and a lipstick, perfect for those who like are matchy-matchy like me!

Need A Candy Coloured Burberry Dupe? The NEW Sleek Whimsical Wonderland Collection
So I started this beauty blog with the intention of shouting about all the great beauty products I've tried, and today's mascara is definitely worth shouting (and reading) about.
I reviewed the Benefit They're Real mascara against Chanel Le Volume here and it came out a clear winner for boosting volume and length. But in-your-face drama isn't necessary for everyone.

Free Benefit RollerLash: Will I Buy The Full-Size Mascara?
I was in Covent Garden the other day and I suddenly remembered - there's one thing I've wanted to do in Covent Garden for quite some time now. Nope, not the Ballet, not the Royal Opera House either - I'm talking about the Burberry Beauty Box! (Obvs..)
Opened last Christmas, it is the ONLY store dedicated to Burberry Beauty - makeup, fragrance, scarves and a selection of beauty accessories designed by Christopher Bailey especially for the Beauty Box. I just HAD to go and buy something - y'know, since it's one-of-a-kind and everything.... right?
Ridiculous self-justifications taken on board.... I spent half an hour in there and ended up leaving with this special package.
Isn't it beautiful?! Lovingly packaged, one of the best bits of the Burberry Beauty Box experience was opening the bag (Once I managed to bring myself to undo the beautiful ribbon tie of course.)
Why? Because the great unveiling was a bit like opening Pandora's box - more and more just kept coming out! There was SO much more than just the lipstick inside... Should I have expected anything less?
Let's find out what's in the bag.
