I know it's still Summer (it IS) but today I've got a step-into-the-future sneak peek at the Christmas coming. Don't get me wrong, I am still very much in the world of bronzing, florals and fake-baking myself but who doesn't love a preview?! As long as you dont offer mince pies in July (which is definitely where the line is btw)
For fans of Nails Inc, Stila and Japonesque, I've got some pictures which will certainly feed your cosmetic-crack addiction and there's some lesser known but equally tasty makeup morsels to wet your appetite.
Let's get stuck in shall we?
Held in the heart of Soho, the Christmas preview featured so many of my favourite brands - Vichy, Japonesque, Nails Inc, Paul & Joe, La Roche Posay to name a few.
It's gonna be hard narrowing it down to my top products but here are the biggest buy-me-now heroes from the night....

Xmas Is Coming... Dowal Walker Winter Wonders revealed!
In place of the normal "What I Wore To Work", today it's another "What I Wore To The Wedding" special! My gorgeous friends Jack & Olive got married last weekend and I was honoured to attend their beautiful celebrations.
And what a wedding it was - I'm talking sweeping marble staircases, seven stunning bridesmaids, a performance by Burberry model Roo Panes and six REAL blossom trees brought into the church (I still haven't gotten over those) - I wouldn't expect any less from a Porter Magazine wedding!
So what did I wear?

Glittery Nails? Bling It On with Nails Inc
I don't know about you but my magazine purchases are heeeeavily influenced by the freebies that come with them. Yes yes, I know they're a marketing ploy designed for me to fall for them but hey, I fall and I fall gladly.
I normally gravitate towards Look, Grazia, Company, Glamour, Marie Claire or Cosmopolitan but on the regular occasion that I should ONLY buy one (due to various bank balance, handbag size, you-haven't-even-finished-reading-the-last-one restrictions), it's normally the freebie that swings it for me.
And this month's Glamour magazine had a limited edition Kate Spade for Nails Inc sample and that little portion of my brain which loves a freeebie went into overdrive. Kate Spade! Nails Inc! Free!!
The shade I got was New York Noir, a lovely glossy midnight black. I picked it because it's not a colour I've got in my vast collection!
But how does it look on my nails? Black can be unforgiving..

Nude nails are a favourite nail look of mine. They go with everything! Whether you're wearing your work smarts or your out-out disco pants, nude nails add a touch of class to all occasions.
Plus they hide a multitude of nail sins in that a carefree "oh my nails are totes naturally like this" way. An absolute blessing for a girl like me who removes her own Shellac and ends up with unsightly glue stains for weeks...
But too much plain can get boring. No one wants to be vanilla all the time.
The answer is simple.
JUST ADD SPRINKLES.
So here we go, my quick summer update for nude nails inspired by ice cream.
And yes, there is a quick way to get this look which does NOT involve drawing on each individual sprinkle yourself.
What did I use?

Given that the bottles normally retail at £11, this is a noted BARGAIN. The only difference is that it's a lucky dip so you don't get to choose your colours.
Some like the thrill of the surprise, I personally worry about getting horrid colours.
But I did it anyway. Keep reading cos here's what I got!!

Nails Inc Lucky Dip is back! 7 Mystery Nail Polishes - what did I get?
I'm a bit of a nail chameleon - my nail colour choice tends to reflect either my mood or the weather. And since there's no colour that can express "over-ate at Xmas and struggling to get back on the wagon", I thought I'd try the weather instead.
Overall, the winter season has had us donning dark hues on our nails. Bleak greys, boozy burgundies, party glitter and dark navy - it's all been very heavy and high impact. But it's January now, a new year! The faint whiff of spring is in the air but the weather is still very much cold, crisp and utterly pants.
How can I reflect this on my nails?? Easy.
Named after the street in Chelsea, Callow Street by Nails Inc is a lovely teal-grey shade with the teeniest hint of metallic olive sheen. It's actually a very unusual colour - I would never have picked it out myself normally but its really changed my opinion!
British weather? May as well have a different nail every hour then eh?
