Sleek Makeup Beauty Launch & Giveaway! The ROCKSTARS Collection
Whether you like it or not, Christmas is coming. All the TV adverts are out, it's hats and gloves weather - I've even got a tree and negotiated with Mr FV the earliest date I can put it up (29 November - but I'd have it up now if it were up to me!)

VIDEO: Forget Beauty Boxes, Make Your Own Personalised Beauty Hamper!
It's PRESENT TIME! Those of you who caught my Instagram post earlier will have seen a glimpse of the awesome parcel I received courtesy of Dove. A fabulous 'welcome home!' selection of body beautiful oils and not-so-body beautiful macarons.
And the good news? There's some for you too!! Not the macarons, obvs - let's not be RIDICULOUS, I ate them all up within 20 minutes and now currently writing this on an AMAZING sUgAr high. First Proper YouTube Video (and Giveaway)
With the sun very slowly making it’s way out, it’s time to start thinking about summer beauty essentials and bringing out the products which get pushed to the back of cabinet over winter - the most obvious of which begins with a B…and ends with RONZER.
Yes yes, clever you for guessing, I’m talking about that ultimate shimmery hit of tan which indicates lots of time spent outdoors, doing something extravagantly healthy like volleyball or hiking in the country, or, if you’re less actively-inclined (like me), your tan is obviously gained by stylishly lazing on a nearby coast.
I actually tan quite evenly and easily – the only ever time I had sunburn, I genuinely thought that I’d just suffered an allergic reaction to something!! I kid you not.
Therefore, I’ve only really used matt bronzers before - y'know, for contouring and adding a bit of brahhn and colour to my otherwise uninteresting skin. However, the last winter has really been, what I like to call, an epiphany of glow! I’ve gone from a matte-finish fanatic to a dewy skin seeker. AND, if that wasn’t enough of a change – my promotion last year also means that I can finally treat myself to the occasional high end beauty product! Nice one.

WIN: Face Value 1st Birthday Giveaway!
This time last year I was wondering what a hashtag was. This time last year I didn't have a decent hobby. This time last year, I made a great decision to start a blog! NICE ONE 2012 ZOE DUBS.
Can you believe it?! It was one year today - this very day- that Face Value Beauty Blog was born. And what a year it's been.
From the concepts of a bored idea, through to an international tweeting, instagramming full-fledged MACHINE, the blog has grown more than I could ever have imagined this time last year.
In my first year I have (poorly) written 136 posts, somehow gained almost 800 Twitter followers and now? Face Value Beauty Blog now gets over 1,000 hits a day. This is absolutely mental.
And none of this would have been possible without you, dear reader. Even though I'm convinced that the majority of the hits are my friends or my mum, it's lovely to know that someone out there reads this blog and hopefully likes it! SO THANK YOU!!!

MONEY MONDAY: Are Your Hands Worth £500? Find out with the Carex Live Life Hands On Awards!
4 months and 70 posts later, I'm hosting my first giveaway!
As you may have read recently, I had a little jaunt in Paris and I came back with the holy grail that is.... BIODERMA.
Deserved of all capitals and underlining thrown at it, this "solution micellaire" is an amazing one-step cleanser for both eyes and face. Bioderma is a backstage staple at fashion shows and makeup artists have been raving about this French phenomenon for ages.
